Hot Dipped Galvanized Iron Wire
Request more infoProduct Features
- The surface forms a complete zinc protective layer to isolate steel from air and moisture and slow down oxidation rusting.
- Three mainstream production processes: hot dipped galvanized, electro galvanized and high tensile galvanized, covering different anti-rust grades and tensile strength.
- Uniform wire diameter, smooth surface without burrs, stable ductility for bending, twisting and binding processing.
- Flexible customization of wire diameter from ultra-fine to thick gauge to match agricultural, construction and industrial demands.
- Tight zinc coating adhesion, not easy to peel off under normal construction operation.
- Neat standard coil packaging, easy to transport, store and cut on site.
Product Advantages
- Comprehensive anti-corrosion performance far superior to black annealed bare wire, suitable for long-term outdoor exposure.
- Graded anti-rust capacity for selection: hot dipped galvanized wire owns thick zinc layer for coastal humid areas; electro galvanized wire with thin zinc layer for indoor or dry environments.
- High tensile galvanized wire features enhanced carbon content and tensile strength, resistant to stretching and sagging for large pasture fencing.
- Stable raw material quality, consistent mechanical performance batch by batch, complete MTC material certificates available.
- Wide application range, one-stop supply for farm fencing, construction binding.
Product Benefits
- Effectively extend service life of outdoor fences and fixing structures, reduce frequent replacement costs.
- Tough wire body ensures firm binding for steel bars, vine trellises and livestock enclosures without breakage.
- Zinc coating avoids direct contact between steel and livestock skin, no scratch or corrosion pollution.
- Standardized coils improve construction efficiency for large-scale farm and engineering projects.
- Three types meet low, medium and high anti-rust & strength requirements to match diverse customer projects.
- Low later maintenance work, no frequent anti-rust repainting needed after installation.

Common Product Types
Formed by dipping steel wire into molten zinc at high temperature with thick, dense zinc coating. Outstanding salt fog and rust resistance, ideal for rainy, humid and coastal outdoor environments. Widely used in pasture fencing, vineyard trellis and long-term outdoor construction fixing.
Application Scope
- Agricultural field: livestock pasture fence, vineyard Y trellis support wire, garden branch fixing, farm boundary enclosure.
- Construction industry: steel bar binding, scaffold fixing, pipeline bundling, temporary construction enclosure.
- Industrial manufacturing: cable armouring, nail making, wire mesh weaving, hardware product processing.
- Infrastructure: highway, railway isolation fence, large outdoor tension net engineering.
- Daily use: handicraft metal modeling, commodity packaging binding.
Comparison With Other Products
- VS Black Annealed Wire. Galvanized wire has zinc anti-rust coating and can be used outdoors; black annealed wire has no anti-corrosion layer and rusts quickly in damp environment, only for short-term indoor binding.
- VS PVC Coated Wire. Galvanized wire has higher tensile strength and is not easy to crack under strong tension; PVC coated wire adds plastic protection for decoration but the outer layer may crack under heavy twisting.
- VS Ordinary Electro Galvanized Wire. Hot dipped galvanized wire has far thicker zinc layer, better anti-rust performance and longer outdoor service life, with slightly higher unit cost.
- VS Conventional Galvanized Wire. High tensile galvanized wire bears larger tension without sagging, suitable for wide-span pasture fence; ordinary galvanized wire will deform and loosen under long-term tension.
Precautions For Use
- Choose hot dipped galvanized wire for coastal, rainy and high-humidity farm areas to resist salt fog corrosion.
- Electro galvanized wire shall be only applied to dry indoor or temporary short-term outdoor projects.
- Select high tensile galvanized wire for large pasture tension fence to prevent wire sagging and loose enclosure.
- Avoid violent friction and impact during transportation and installation to prevent zinc coating peeling.
- Store coils in dry and ventilated warehouse; cover waterproof cloth if placed outdoors temporarily.
- Provide corresponding MTC material test certificates as per customer’s customs clearance requirements.
